INiTS is based at the Vienna BioCenter, one of the leading life sciences hotspots in Europe and is an active member of the AplusB Association, which is dedicated to the promotion of academic spin-offs. Among the stakeholders of the AplusB scale-up incubators almost all Austrian universities are represented, as well as universities of applied sciences and research institutions.
